This comprehensive two day CPO Course provides Public and Semi-Public Pool- Spa Operators with the skills and knowledge necessary to properly manage a pool and/or spa. This certification is required by state and federal code for all commercial pool/spa operators to open and operate pools or spas in Minnesota.

Topics covered in this course are as follows: Calculations, Water Chemistry/Balance, Water Testing, Health Codes, Record Keeping, Disease and Accident Prevention, Equipment, Water Problems, New Drain Regulations, and many more.

The cost of this two-day course is $325.00 per person: this fee includes the P.H.T.A. Pool/Spa Operators Handbook, examination, certificate fee, and lunch both days. The cost of an Extra Manual is $99.00. 

This training course contains a lot of information in a short period of time. At the end of the course, an “Open Book” examination will be given. All students receiving 75% or a better score will receive a nationally recognized Certified Pool/Spa Operators Certificate of Completion from the Pool and Hot Tum Alliance, valid for 5 years.
