Thatcher Pools and Spas is seeking a detail-oriented service technician for an entry level position to join our growing team.

Job Duties:
● Filling out notes after completing each service call
● Reading notes prior to leaving for that day
● Keeping truck clean and organized on a daily basis
● Punctuality on a consistent basis and dressing in a clean and neat appearance
● Attending service meetings on Friday mornings
● Communicating with customers while on the job via phone, and e-mail
● Essential part of the job to be able to handle issues for customers and do your best to ensure they are satisfied
● Communicating with office staff in regards to ordering parts, schedule changes, and job estimates
Qualifications:
● Basic hand and power tool usage
● Lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly
● Customer service skills
● Valid driver’s license
● Mechanically inclined

Customer Service Associate
At Thatcher Pools & Spas, we believe pools and spas are more than products– they’re spaces for wellness, connection, and fun. As a Customer Service Associate, you’re the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in their experience. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping others and wants to learn—no prior pool or spa experience needed. We provide full training.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet customers and assist with questions about products, services, parts, and water care
- Test pool and spa water samples; explain results and recommend products or maintenance steps
- Process transactions using the POS system and assist with invoicing and follow-ups
- Prepare and load customer orders, including lifting products as needed
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain a clean, orderly store and display areas
- Answer phone calls and emails; assist with basic scheduling and service questions
- Support seasonal tasks, promotions, and in-store events
- Work with team members to keep daily operations running smoothly
Requirements:
- Friendly, clear communication with customers and coworkers
- Willingness to learn products, water care, and basic troubleshooting
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks throughout the day
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, including busy and slower seasons
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Able to lift and stock products, use ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends

Sales Associate

At Thatcher Pools & Spas, we specialize in creating elevated backyard experiences—from pools and spas to saunas and outdoor living. As a Sales & Customer Experience Specialist, you’ll guide customers through meaningful, high-value purchases that enhance their lifestyle, health, and connection with others.
This role is ideal for someone who combines a passion for people with a consultative sales approach—someone who enjoys building relationships, sharing expertise, and delivering an exceptional experience from the first conversation through installation and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Create a welcoming, consultative sales experience focused on understanding each customer’s lifestyle, goals, and space
- Guide customers through luxury wellness products including spas, saunas, swim spas, pools, and outdoor living solutions
- Educate customers with confidence—helping them make informed decisions that fit their needs and long-term enjoyment
- Own the full customer journey, from initial inquiry through purchase, delivery, and post-sale support
- Coordinate closely with installation teams to ensure clear communication on timelines, expectations, and project updates
- Proactively follow up with leads and existing customers to build lasting relationships and drive repeat business
- Conduct product orientations and onboarding, ensuring customers feel confident and excited about their investment
- Maintain a polished, inspiring showroom environment that reflects the quality of our products and brand
- Keep sales materials, pricing, and displays accurate and up to date
- Support store operations including ordering, merchandising, and cross-team collaboration
- Assist customers with water testing, product selection, and point-of-sale transactions as needed

Seasonal Installer

Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.00*

We strive to bring the highest quality service and products to each and every one of our customers. What sets Thatcher Pools apart is that we are family owned and highly invested in providing excellent products with untouchable customer service.
If you are looking for a fast paced and fun, seasonal environment, this is the position for you. Seasonal positions are available starting in April and end in October (dates can be flexible). Thatcher Pools and Spas is located in Rochester, MN.
Job Duties:
- Assisting installation teams with a variety of daily tasks
- Assisting with basic pool and spa installations and maintenance
- Cleaning up after technician crew on job site
- Other duties as assigned

- Proficient computer skills
