Service Manager

Thatcher Pools and Spas is seeking a detail-oriented service manager for a senior level position to join our growing team. Thatcher Pools is a premier pool and spa retailer. Job Duties:

• Maintaining the Vehicle Fleet, including scheduling maintenance, ensure vehicles are cleaned out after use, and all vehicles are in safe, working order
• Use Evosus to look at upcoming week’s jobs and communicate with the Service Scheduler if anything needs to be scheduled differently or for more or less hours/people
• Coordinate with the Service Scheduler to create on-call schedule
• Tracking and managing overtime for entire service team and adjust scheduling accordingly
• Run weekly report of items sold from all van stock sites and add those items to corresponding Purchase Orders or start new Purchase Orders
• Ensure service techs are sending Podium messages recapping any conversations or what was completed after each service call
• Track Billable Hours per tech
• Track Monthly Revenue for Service Department
• Follow up on any customer issues or concerns
• Bring any concerns from service department to Senior Management
• Assist in keeping communication lines open between service, scheduling and sales departments
• Identify any inefficiencies and ways to improve processes
• Create bulk orders for supplies when possible to avoid additional trips to local retailers
• Ensuring service techs have all the parts they need for their scheduled jobs
• Helping Service Scheduler run team meetings and stay on task
• Ensure team is assigned, and completes trainings as needed
• Take notes during trainings and send out recaps

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in a leadership role
• Mechanically inclined
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
• High degree of attention to detail
• Strong leadership and relationship building abilities
