Thatcher Pools and Spas is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic senior service technician for a management level position to join our growing team. Thatcher Pools is a premier pool and spa retailer. Job Duties:

• Ordering of parts in conjunction with Service Scheduler
• Organization of parts in the store, warehouse, and service van
• Utilizing manufacturer best practices for repairs and replacements
• Assist with troubleshooting difficult problems or repairs
• Collaborate with other service technicians, vendors and company leadership to suggest improvements in plumbing, electrical, pool and spa repair and maintenance
• Recommend any ways we can improve our customer service, repairs,maintenance or overall care and maintenance of pools and spasUse scheduling software to look at upcoming week’s jobs and communicate with
• Service Scheduler to determine if anything needs to be scheduled differently or for more or less hours/people
• Help to promote a team environment by being inclusive and maintaining a positive attitude
• Attending service meetings every week

Qualifications:

• Basic hand and power tool usage
• Lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly
• Customer service skills
• Proficient with computer software
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Mechanically inclined
• Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years prior technical experience dealing with plumbing, electrical, or HVAC
